My personal logo and branding were in need of an update. In addition to doing graphic design, I am also an artist and small business owner of "E.S. Designs". My brand and my business is evolving and changing just as I am, so I felt it appropriate to change up my branding and my logo.

It was extremely important for my logo and branding to be built for versatility. As an artist and a digital designer, the projects that my logo and branding are likely to be a part of will vary greatly. I am just as likely to use these designs on clothing tags for my t-shirts and bags, as I am to use them on my LinkedIn.
Old logo from 2019
My original logo was one I created in 2019 in my first ever graphic design class. I wanted my updated logo to still hold the original design of the face made of flowers from 2019, just with some changes to elevate the design and to bring some color in. My background as an illustrator and printmaker have played a heavy role in my logo design. It was important to me that my logo was reflective of my personal style. Florals, patterns, and line work are popular and prominent attributes of my work.

I chose colors that were welcoming but still on the neutral side. I want to ensure my brand comes off as professional. But, I also wish for it to reflect my friendly and relaxed nature.
